One of the biggest games this season by far is today’s afternoon match-up between the Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals. Both teams are desperately fighting for homefiled advantage in the playoffs, which Arizona looking for the ultimate post-season edge with this year’s Super Bowl at U of Phoenix Stadium. Unfortunately, the team has suffered a season-ending injury from their captain Carson Palmer, but they’ve turned to the young Drew Stanton.
The Cardinals face one of the league’s toughest and most surprising defenses this season in the Lions. Detroit has shocked all with an impressive 7-2 record, but still only lead the surging Green Bay Packers by one game.
