After dropping consecutive games, the Arizona Cardinals NFC lead has disappeared, as five teams are in pursuit of passing them overall conference standings. Today, they have an inter-conference meeting against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have also lost two consecutive games. Since Carson Palmer has been out of action for the season with injuries, Drew Stanton has had respectable play throwing for nearly 1400 yards and 6 TDs in play thus far. Luckily for fans of the Cardinals, they’re yet to lose U of Phoenix Stadium and could pull away with an “upset” today if their offense is firing on all cylinders. Alex Smith has been very efficient his play this season to help will the Chiefs to a 7-5 record, but winning here today would be in their best interest before AFC West opponents in coming weeks.
