As usual, all eyes are on Johnny Manziel once again following his horrendous first ever NFL start last weekend and will looking to have another chance at earning a starting role in the league. Following the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend, the Cleveland Browns face another fierce defense in the Carolina Panthers.
Luckily for the dog pound, Cam Newton is questionable for a start this weekend, which puts immense pressure on the Panthers defense. A fatigued front line and secondary will enable Manziel to not feel rushed (no pun intended) in decision making. What’s been holding him back is holding the ball too long in the pocket and overthinking possible plays. Carolina is in an intense NFC South playoff race with the New Orleans Saints for top slot for wildcard weekend, and will have to find a way to win this inter-conference meeting today.
