Last weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs had one of the biggest upsets around the entire NFL. The team now heads to Mile High for a match-up they didn’t want to see right now against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. The Chiefs are fresh from their loss against the Tennessee Titans and are on the verge of being 0-2 to start their season. A significant loss here today, could have Andy Reid on the immediate hot seat leading up to their road game next weekend against the rising Miami Dolphins. Denver opened their season without Peyton Manning’s favorite target, Wes Welker, In his absence, the Broncos sent a statement to the rest of the AFC opening up their season with 3 consecutive touchdown passes to Julius Thomas and took a 24-0 lead.
Today, we expect Denver’s defense to be the real problem of the game for Alex Smith, with Peyton looking to remain undefeated as a Bronco against Kansas City. Denver will look to wrap this one early, with another multiple-passing touchdown game from Manning, before their rematch next weekend against the Seattle Seahawks.
