Chicago at San Francisco
Time: 8:30 PM (ET)
Network: NBC
Closing out Sunday action in the night cap is the official regular season home opener for the San Francisco 49ers in $1 Billion Levi’s Stadium. Following their week 1 road blowout victory against the Dallas Cowboys that was the constant joke of twitter last Sunday, the 49ers will look to continue leaving their over-season woes in the back of their minds as an afterthought. Their opponents, the Chicago Bears didn’t have much luck in their home opener last weekend, losing to the Buffalo Bills in upset fashion.
The Jay Cutler and Matt Forte show was once again dominating the field, but Chicago’s defense couldn’t get key stops for them to win the game later down the stretch in their opener. In this game, we expect the 49ers run-game to make a huge splash to field led by Colin Kaepernick and Frank Gore; but that doesn’t mean Cutler and his Bears will be a pushover this afternoon.
FINAL: CHI 28 | SF 20
