Pittsburgh at Carolina

Sunday action ends with a night cap of inter-conference pigskin play between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers. 10 days ago, the Steelers were victim to the Baltimore Ravens defense, who didn’t allow a single TD throughout the entire game. Pittsburgh’s defense didn’t help things out either, as they allowed 157 rushing yards from led by Bernard Pierce and Justin Forsett.
Tonight, they see much tougher defense from one of the top 5 in the league from the Carolina Panthers. Coming off ankle surgery and missing week 1 due to a rib injury, Cam Newton has gave his teammates and fans a sigh of relief heading forward and will look for another big home victory tonight.
The Steelers have a lot to prove in their affair against the Panthers, but will have to protect Ben Roethlisberger in the pocket to find open receivers if they want this game close. Carolina will come out the gate pressing the Steelers on defense and will be the deciding factor in this match-up.
