Must See NFL Sunday 2014: Week 4

Carolina at Baltimore
Time: 1:00 PM (ET)
Network: CBS

Over the years, one of our favorite players to watch has been Steve Smith. Although we would’ve liked to see him win a Super Bowl with the Carolina Panthers, he was unfortunately released from the team. Smith has had a huge chip on his shoulder and is currently top 10 in wide receiver production among all players. We really would’ve loved this game to be in Carolina, but the Baltimore Ravens will be playing host to Cam Newton and company.

So far this season, Baltimore’s defensive backs have had a difficult time stopping the pass in the early stages of the season. Fortunately for Cam Newton, he’s still trying to gain chemistry with his new young receiving core and will have game time possessions against a weaker Ravens. However, with the emergence of Baltimore’s offense and Carolina’s inability to stop the run game (where their opponents excel); we’re siding with the Ravens in this one. Along with usage of the play-action and a consistent run game, Carolina may be having confusion during the peak stages of the game and lead to their second consecutive loss.
