Only because this game is in Minnesota and Teddy Bridgewater starting his first ever career game, we’re featuring the Vikings in one of our top 5 most watched games. Last weekend, Matt Cassel suffered a serious foot injury in the team’s loss to the New Orleans Saints, and the former Louisville Cardinals standout QB, Bridgewater was called upon for quarterback duties. After finishing the game with a 12/20 completion, 150 yards and an 83.3 QB rating, Teddy was the logical choice this weekend for the team moving forward currently.
We expect the Atlanta Falcons to continue from their 56-14 blowout over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with an easy victory today. Tight-end Kyle Rudolph will also be out of action for the next six weeks with groin surgery, which will unfortunately put more pressure on the rookie to deliver today. Hopefully an intrigued team overall with the QB they want out on the field will be inspired to help Bridgewater get through his first start.
