Chicago at Carolina

Both the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears are coming off unfortunate week 4 losses last Sunday. Luckily, the two NFC team have a chance to jump back to above .500 with a win today. Carolina’s defense was exposed last weekend by the former player Steve Smith and the Baltimore Ravens, jumped to 3-1 in the twenty-point blowout.
Now back home, Cam Newton and company will have a gameplan today to rely on defense once again in the secondary to stop injury-played Bears. While Jay Cutler will be looking to his receiving core of Martellus Bennett and Alshon Jeffery, we’re hoping the team relies more on the ground game from Matt Forte seeing a splash of production today. The Panthers have been the worst at stopping the run game this year, giving up an average of over 7 yards per carry. Hopefully Chicago uses previous stats to their advantage for another road win this season.
