New Orleans at Detroit

After starting their season 1-3, the New Orleans Saints are making progressive strides to make a push in the NFC South. Today, they travel to Ford Field for a match-up against the Detroit Lions. Both Teams are plagued with serious injury problems with both Calvin Johnson and the possibility of Drew Brees’ top target Jimmy Graham being a toss up to play dealing with shoulder issues. This game in our opinion will come down to defense, which Detroit has been top 5 among all teams stopping the pass and the run.
However, with all of that said, we’re still picking the Saints in an upset today with their offense finally picking up after a big overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week at home. This may be a must win for New Orleans to save their season as well, with upcoming games against the Green Bay Packers, Carolina Panthers, San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens before December.
