Must See NFL Sunday 2014: Week 9

cowboysweek82014

Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys
Time: 1:00 PM (ET) on FOX
Favorite: Cowboys (open: 4 / current: 4 | over/under: 48)

Are the Cowboys on the verge of free falling this season? After starting the year with an impressive 6-1 record (best in the NFL), they soon find themselves hinder by multiple injuries. Justin Durant is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a torn bicep and Tony Romo is now dealing with nagging back pains again, due to their offensive-lines inability to protect him in the pocket. Dallas comes into this week on short rest; but luckily for them, they’re back home at AT&T Stadium. Although the defense is playing its hardest right now (surprisingly), the team lacks significant talent and depth with Durant out. Arizona has been a under-the-radar team with the best record now in the NFL at 6-1 (tied with Denver) and look to be the winners of the NFC West heading forward.

With the Cardinals showing impressive defensive play with the ability to blitz and pressure the opponents, Jerry Jones could be second guessing whether it was smart enough to start his franchise player, Tony Romo. Luckily for Dallas, they place Jacksonville next Sunday before their bye week, so the team will have three weeks to rest.
