Denver Broncos at New England Patriots
Time: 4:25 PM (ET) on CBS
Favorite: Denver (open: 3 / current: 3 | over/under: 55)
The biggest game this week in our eyes is the annual Manning-Brady bowl. Although these two will never ever play each other in a Super Bowl, their regular season and playoff meetings have been some the game of football may never see again. When Bill Belichick and Tom Brady are not playing Petyon Manning, the two sides are huge fans of each other – and vice versa. However, when they’re all on the field as opposition, the two factions play their hardest as if it’s the big game of February.
We’re still doubting any team will be able to defeat the Denver Broncos this year, as they’ve improved to an impressive 6-1 record. Judging by their upcoming schedule of weaker opponents, we find it hard not to see Denver finishing with the league’s best record this season and another trip to the big game.
New England was on the verge of falling under .500 to start the month, but have quickly won 4 consecutive games to improve to a 6-2 record. The team sees a rough November with a bye week next Sunday, but finishes out the month with meetings against the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions, and Green Bay Packers before December. With the lack of a supporting cast to give Brady help in crucial moments against the emerging Denver defense, they’ll have to rely on the crowd at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
