Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers
Time: 8:30 PM (ET) on NBC
Favorite: Pittsburgh (open: PK / current: PK | over/under: 48)
We’re still trying to figure out how the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are both 5-3. Heading into the season, we personally didn’t expect either of the two to be playoff contenders, but experience and a weak AFC has put them into serious contentions. Baltimore has almost the easiest schedule remaining among all teams and could be a lock to have a 10-win season. Unfortunately, they’re in a major road win tonight on prime time at Heinz Field for Pittsburgh’s third consecutive home game (previously won last two).
With the team’s 12th man Mike Tomlin patrolling the sidelines, we have serious questions for Joe Flacco’s ability to not give up interceptions against mediocre defenses, including the one he’s about to see today. Big Ben Roethlisberger had a career game yesterday throwing for 522 yards in the biggest outing of his career. He became the first player to have two 500+yard passing games and solidified his placement as a first-ballot-hall of famer.
