Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans
Time: 1:00 PM (ET) on CBS
Favorite: Houston (open: 2.5 / current: 1 | over/under: 41)
No longer under-the-radar, the Houston Texans are one of the limelight teams this season, as they open their season against the Kansas City Chiefs. After parting ways with Ryan Fitzpatrick over the off-season, the Texans immediately put focus to landing respectable pocket-passer Brian Hoyer.
This has been the team’s issue this entire decade (and likely their franchise history), being without a QB on a stacked team of full of gems. The Kansas City Chiefs missed the Wild Card last winter by one game, as Andy Reid and Alex Smith will be looking to give contributions to their outstanding defense.
With the beast J.J. Watt observing things on the other side of the line-of-scrimmage, this game essentially comes down to which quarterback can get their offense going – which somehow we’re expecting might be the Houston Texans.
