Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers
Time: 1:00 PM (ET) | Sunday
Network: FOX
After 4 years, the in-state Pennsylvania rivalry continues at Heinz Field where the Eagles travel to play the Steelers one of the most anticipated games of week 5. The eagles lead the NFC East in supremacy with a 3-1 record, while the Steelers are under .500 with a 1-2 record. Pittsburgh will be finally be at full strength for the first time this season with Rashard Mendenhall, James Harrison and yes, Troy Polamalu all returning in this afternoon’s game.
LeSean McCoy is coming off a 123 yard performance last week against the Giants as I would expect that play to continue this week. The story of this game will be the Eagles defense getting to Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers offensive line is going to have to play its best game today if they want a shot at this game but on the flip side the same can be said about the Eagles as well who will have protect Vick from the Steelers blitz which is one of the best in the entire NFL.
Another key matchup to look forward to today will be Antonio Brown and Brandon Boykin, who have been having a war of words this week. In the end, I expect the Steelers to bounce back this week defeat the Eagles to move to .500 in a close game heading into the 4th.
