San Diego Chargers at New Orleans Saints
Time: 8:20 PM (ET) | Sunday
Network: NBC
The bounty scandal has really been a distraction for the Saints as they’re still win-less this year heading into week 5 with a 0-4 record. Last week, Drew Brees had his best game of the season throwing for 446 yards completing 35 of 54 passes but obviously would lose the game to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers barely squeaked by with the dub. This week, Brees is going to need help from his defensive line to pressure Philip Rivers who was had an elite level performances last week completing 18 of 23 passes.
Suspended saints head coach, Sean Payton was granted a pass to attend tonight’s game which should provide an emotional boost for the organization and fans. It won’t be a season changer if the Chargers lose this game as they’re in a very week AFC West as well as the AFC which could pretty much be up for grabs minus the Texans. I’m going out on a limb here and picking the Saints for the upset.
