Must See NFL TV: Week 1

Pittsburgh at Denver
Time: 8:20 PM (ET) | Sunday
Network: NBC

The NFL wasted no time with having Peyton Manning in the spotlight in his first full game back in over 15 months. The Pittsburgh Steelers lost last year to the then-led Tim Tebow Denver Broncos on Wild-Card Weekend in OT. Pittsburgh in my opinion will be struggling this season with injuries and age as this will be the year they finally break down and miss the playoffs. The Broncos defense who was one of the highest rated during last years season will have more motive to play harder since they have a real quarterback with future hall-of-famer Peyton Manning.

Peyton is only one touchdown shy of having 400 for his career and is 22 away from Dan Marino for second all time. He obviously won’t have 22 against the Steelers, but will have a few touchdowns quieting all doubters if he can still play. With Willis McGahee finally seeing a break in being the workhorse compared to last year, I expect these two teams to have the same outcome that we saw last Winter on Wild-Card weekend.
