NY Giants at Philadelphia Eagles

In my pick for the game of the week, the Eagles and Giants meet in an NFC East rivalry game with all playoff implications in stake for tie-breakers down the road when the post season arrives. The Giants led by Eli Manning, who’s looked like the best quarterback in all of football the last two weeks, have been suffering from injury problems this year as wide-out Hakeem Nicks will be unavailable to play tonight.
LeSean McCoy and Osi Umenyiora had a war of words last year as the Giants still haven’t found an answer to McCoy averaging just over 100 yards in their last four meetings. Michael Vick who took one of his worst beatings in his career last week against the Cardinals, will obviously have more help this week against a weaker Giants defensive line but the main question will be whether his defense to stop Eli. I expect the Giants to pull away with this one at the end in a close nail bitter for the Sunday nightcap game.
