Here’s All-Star Saturday Night!

As the NBA gears up for the 2017 edition of their yearly weekend festivities, they share details for All Star Saturday Night. Moments ago on TNT, Inside the NBA shared competitors, not named LeBron James, for the Slam Dunk Contest, 3-Point Shootout and Skills Challenge events. Earlier this week, Zach LaVine confirmed that he would not be defending his title, which has put a huge dent on the event becoming the most underwhelming contests ever – on paper.

While Aaron Gordon will be looking to capture the crown, Klay Thompson will return to defend his long-range shooting belt, as he’ll take on Kyrie Irving, Nick Young, C.J. McCollum and the best shooter on NBA 2K17, Kyle Lowry. However, the Skills Challenge looks to be the biggest event of the three this year, solely because of Joel Embiid, who may have been snubbed as reserve last week.

Before we witness Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook play as teammates for the first time in 8 months, take a look below at the complete breakdown for All-Star Saturday Night.
