The grueling rigors of the NBA post-season has been met with an open mind by the upper management because the league has now made some changes to the NBA Finals format to allow more rest to players and make travel demands not as grueling for not only the athletes, but members of the media and personnel as well.
The NBA has revised the Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday model for a more conventional two-day rest in between games when they have to travel to cities. The NBA made changes in the format last year when they went from the 2-3-2 format to a 2-2-1-1-1 model and is now tweaking it again, in hopes to reduce injury and allow more recuperation between games.
June 2nd is when the 2016 NBA Finals are set to start.
