Multiple NBA Executives Believe Houston Rockets Could Land LeBron James

CP3 x Harden x LBJ x Melo

With LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers enjoying a recent 13-game winning stream, rumors are starting to roll out regarding the league’s biggest player. This weekend, Sam Amick of the USA Today shared a report, revealing that multiple executives and GMs around the league believe King James could be taking his talents somewhere unexpected.

In comparison to players believing LeBron will go to the Lakers, rival executives are legitimate fearing that the King could pair up with James Harden and Chris Paul on the Houston Rockets.

The article stated, “While James has made it clear that he won’t deliberate his uncertain future until the Cavs’ season is complete, there is strong belief in Rockets circles that they’ll have a legitimate shot at landing him this summer. Rival executives also believe the Rockets will have a real chance.”

In our opinion, Houston would make the most sense, aligning himself with the best offensively skilled player and most vocal floor leader in the league. CP3, like Carmelo Anthony and Dwayne Wade are also a free agent this off-season, which is something we’re sure the four have already discussed in recent months. Considering there is no income tax in Texas and cheaper rent for exotic spots, Rockets GM Daryl Morey will have an easier way persuade James on coming to town.

However, this starts with Houston making a deep playing off push, to at least a few wins in the conference finals – or further. Let us know below what you think.
