First up is Carmelo Anthony’s New York Knicks trying to eliminate Paul Pierce’s Boston Celtics. Boston was able to fight back in game four and extend the series, but the real question is can they win tonight in the meccas of basketball, Madison Square Garden. One of the main factors missing in game four for the Knicks was NBA Sixth Man Of The Year JR Smith who will return to action tonight. Also Carmelo had one of the worst offensive nights in recent memory. Those two factors alone make it hard to picture the Knicks not being able to close out the series tonight at home.

Everybody figured that James Harden would be able to will the Rockets to at least one win their playoff matchup against Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder, but the question now is can they make it a compelling series. Going back to OKC for game five tonight will be a tough task and could lead to the end of this seasons run for Harden and the Rockets. Game four was an intense battle that was, like the entire series, high energy and high drama. The Rockets were able to hold a big lead for the majority of the game, but the bad news for them is that OKC still had a very good shot at winning the game and completing the sweep. Now with the series back in OKC we don’t see any way this one doesn’t end tonight.
