The NBA only has game scheduled for today, but lucky fo us it’s from maybe the most exciting series of the 2nd round. The Spurs and Warriors will once again take battle at Oracle Arena in Golden State in a pivotal matchup. San Antonio is trying to take advantage of a beat up Warriors team and take a commanding 3-1 series lead. Steph Curry is a gametime decision after twisting his ankle late in game 3. With the importance of this game we don’t see anyway he will miss it. The Warriors will need to put it all on the line today, as they can’t afford to go back to San Antonio facing elimination.

FINAL: Warriors 97 | Spurs 87

Check out a recap and highlights from an exciting game four, after the jump.

With their backs against the wall the Golden State Warriors stepped up to the challenge and evened up the series at 2-2. They were able to get back into by focusing on defense and hitting big shots. The Spurs held a sizable lead in the 4th quarter but were not able to sustain the energy and tempo to keep up with this Golden State squad. Steph Curry did his usual thing during this contest, but the real surprise was Harrison Barnes having a huge game. It was especially important due to the fact that Klay Thompson was relatively quiet the entire day.

After both teams were not able to convert on their last possessions, the game went to overtime. This was a one-sided contest once the extra frame started. The Spurs simply went too cold on the offensive side and the Warriors nailed all the big shots. This series now gets very interesting as it heads back to San Antonio for a huge game 5.
