LSU Tigers (14-8,7-2)
Louisiana State struck gold once the great Ben Simmons decided to commit to the school. The team isn’t the best, but if you have arguably the best player in college basketball then you’re a sleeper pick of mine. It’s not the LeBron comparisons, or the 19 points 12 rebounds a game. What sticks out to me is the 5 assists a game by your freshman forward. The Tigers have beat Kentucky and scared Oklahoma before blowing a double digit lead. So LSU doesn’t have the best wins for an at large bid, but in a shaky SEC they could very well win the SEC tournament. There are 3 games left on the schedule that the Tigers have to at least go 2 for 3 on. Two road games against South Carolina and Kentucky, also a home game against Texas A&M, but with the future “LeBron James” LSU should handle business.
