We guess it’s open season on New York Knicks players this holiday season. If you remember, Derrick Williams was robbed of nearly a million in jewelry from two women in his own house.
Now, according to the NY Post, his teammate Cleanthony Early, was the next target from the team after an apparent shooting and robbery in Queens. Earlier this morning, the 24-year-old small forward was leaving a strip club with his girlfriend and was approached by a collective of masked men in three cars, who saw an opportunity for a come up.
After getting into an Uber, Early was boxed in from the vehicles and soon robbed of gold caps on his teeth, jewelry, two gold chains, an iPhone 6 and cash. However, before leaving the sting, the men would shoot him in the right knee after their coordinated attack. Cleanthony, who’s a native New Yorker of the Bronx, luckily survived the incident and his injuries were not life threatening.
