The “No Fun League” has struck again, as today it was announced that the NFL is banning dunking on the goalposts as a touchdown celebration. This celebration was made popular by now-retired TE Tony Gonzalez, and perfected by current Saints TE Jimmy Graham. Graham was so thunderous with his goalpost slams, that in a game last year against Atlanta, he actually broke one of them causing a delay in the game. Because of that play specifically we most likely have this unpopular rule change.
The real question now, is if players will rebel against Roger Goodell and the NFL and continue to dunk or if they come up with some creative way of countering the rule.
