Indianapolis at New England
Time: 8:15 PM (ET)
Network: CBS
With the exception of Payton Manning having the best statistically season of any quarterback ever, Tom Brady has been playing on par with any elite level passer within the NFL. New England has had a bye week in time for preparations against the surging Indianapolis Colts fresh from their 45-44 comeback victory against the Kansas City Chiefs (2nd largest playoff comeback in NFL history previously down 28).
Until last night, we had the Patriots winning this game convincingly at home in Foxboro; but last night, news surfaced that wideout Aaron Dobson would be out of action today. New England has remained undefeated this year at Gillette Stadium but that trend could change today if Bill Belichick doesn’t motivate his limited defense tonight. One interesting fact in tonight’s game, is the previously winners of the Colts and Patriots meetings have went on to win the Super Bowl.
