Terrance Knighton, DT, Washington Redskins
The Washington Redskins have struggled to find a really solid defensive tackle ever since they broke the bank on Albert Haynesworth, but may have found a legitimate answer to their struggles in Terrance Knighton.
He’s been a very consistent piece of the Denver Broncos’ defense for that past couple of years, and now that he should look just as good in burgundy and gold. Knighton fits right into the system that Joe Barry will be running, and should be a nice piece to have at the base of their defense.
Knighton certainly can’t solve all their problems on the defensive side of the ball, but at the very least he’s a definitive upgrade from Barry Cofield and will help Washington take a step forward defensively.
