Over the past week we’ve seen parodies from Jimmy Kimmel as well as fan made videos of the great officiating showcased by the replacement referees in the NFL in only 2 weeks; but last night after Monday Night Football, 49ers Hall of Famer Steve Young came to a boiling as he spoke his mind on the NFL and their replacements.
With Trent Dilfer, Bill Polian and Stuart Scott on hand, the NFL legend went on the vocally call out the greatest commissioner in sports Roger Goodell, saying the NFL doesn’t care about having bad referees or it’s players safety. After last night’s game, a person with stature such as Steve Young should have influence in the decisions process by the NFL and Union to settle this issue sooner than later. We just don’t hope it doesn’t takes an severe injury to a player for both sides to so.
Check after the jump for ESPN’s Adam Schefter sharing his thoughts on the situation as well.
