San Francisco at St. Louis

Before the 2013 NFL started looking ahead of the San Francisco 49ers schedule and more importantly their upgraded roster, you would think this would be favorable win for them; but now that is not the case. They opened the season at home with an impressive win against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers; but have lost two consecutive and embarrassing games against Seattle and last Sunday against the Colts.
Under Jim Harbaugh, San Francisco has never lost back-to-back games and have an under .500 record. The 49ers will be without Aldon Smith, who was suspended by the team for crashing his car being heavily intoxicated with drug possession; but also without Patrick Willis who will miss action tonight due to a strained groin.
While the Rams have tougher schedule and are also 1-2 heading into this game, the 49ers are the Super Bowl contenders and going into week 5 two games under .500 is something they’re going to be in an unlikely hole none of us predicted them to be season.
UPDATE: 49ers end two-game losing stream defeating Rams 35-11
If you remember last year, San Francisco didn’t defeat the Rams in their two outings; which including a controversial tie and one loss. Tonight, we’re not sure what to expect, as the 49ers have a combined 10 points in their last two outings that has us under the impression they’re “due” for a victory. Our prediction is at a stalemate tonight, with both teams having internal problems with confidence and chemistry issues; but we’re guaranteed for two NFC West teams to fight tonight like they’re seasons are on the line.
