NFL Thursday Night: Browns/Ravens Preview

Cleveland at Baltimore
Time: 8:20 PM (ET)
Network: NFL Network

Tonight’s week 3 NFL Thursday Night Football game features an AFC north rivalry match-up between the winless Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens. Baltimore is fresh off their Sunday prime-time AFC rematch victory game against New England Patriots and has voiced their displeasure with having to play this game on 3 1/2 days’ rest. Earlier today the NFL and Referees agreed to terms ending their lockout as we can expect so see “normal” officiating tonight in this game.

The Ravens currently have a 12 consecutive home game winning streak in the NFL (longest in the league) as I’d expect that streak continue with an easy victory tonight over the Browns. Ed Reed should have a field-day (pun intended) tonight against rookie QB Brandon Weeden, who’s been struggling to find himself in the league with a 60.7 passer rating thus far. Cleveland’s who tied for 7th in the league in sacks with 9 total will have a hard time getting to skinny nigga Joe Flacco in this one.

If the Browns want a realistic shot at winning tonight’s game, along with Weeden, rookie running back Trent Richardson is going to have to be a major factor in this game; if not which I’m predicting, expect Baltimore to embarrass these boys.
