New Orleans at Atlanta

There’s only 6 more weeks left on the NFL schedule sadly, as week 12 begins tonight in the A. The Atlanta Falcons play host to the New Orleans Saints; which before the season started, some of us were looking ahead at the primetime national games and this NFC South rivalry meeting stood out. Unfortunately the Falcons haven’t lived up to their 2012, coming within a few points of the Super Bowl in losing effort to the San Francisco 49ers.
Now at 2-8 beginning week 12, they’re out of playoff contention; but as added motivation or hope for Falcons fans tonight, Atlanta’s only two wins of the year were both at home. Speaking of San Francisco, the Saints are fresh from controversial victory over the 49ers, where Ahmad Brooks was penalized and later fined for roughing Drew Brees with a horse collar tackle. The Saints survived that meeting, and will continue success tonight with essentially a bye-week tonight in Atlanta. Fantasy users will be watching this one, but the Saints could get off to a big start in preparations for their epic Monday Night Football showdown in 12 days against the Seattle Seahawks.
