Seattle at San Francisco
Time: 8:20 PM (ET)
Network: NFL Network
For game 1 of play for NFL week 7 play, we’re privileged (we think) to witness this NFC West showdown tonight as San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks face off in a highly important game for divisional seeding. Frisco’s coming off their embarrassing 26-3 home loss on Sunday against the Giants as they failed to make it to the red zone the entire game. The Seahawks are fresh from their upset victory against the Patriots as they scored two touchdowns in the last 7 minutes of the game, shocking the entire NFL.
With both teams being 4-2, neither wants to go back to .500 especially the 49ers who were considered the best team in the NFL before the season started, but after last Sunday’s “exposure,” those bold statements have been reversed as there’s questions regarding Alex Smith’s “eliteness.”
In this game, Seattle’s pass game is going to stand up to the fierce 49ers defense if they want to win this game on the road. They’re coming off their season-high in passing yards with 368 on Sunday as they’ll look to keep their offense going tonight. This game is imperative to the 49ers season to set the tone for their next two upcoming games which also feature AFC West rivals with the Rams and Cardinals before their epic Monday Night Football showdown against the Chicago Bears.
Look for Frank Gore to have a big game as I predict San Francisco to sneak away with the Victory.
