Seattle at Arizona

The 2013 NFL season is nearing its halfway point, as we’re entering week 7 tonight with a respectable match-up in comparison to the previous two weeks of action. The best division in football is by far the NFC West, which the 5-1 Seattle Seahawks travel to face the 3-3 Arizona Cardinals. Unlike any division in the league, the NFC West has no team under .500 currently, but that could change tonight.
Under Pete Carol’s tenure as head coach, the Seahawks are currently 2-7 against divisional rivals, and the team hasn’t won in Arizona since the 200 season. Much like the Seahawks, the Cardinals play way better at home; but Carson Palmer cannot throw too many interceptions tonight (11 in the season so far) against this tough Seattle defense.
Seattle plays extremely poor on the road offensively, but their defense always travels well to help them win games. The biggest x-factor in tonight’s action will be Palmer’s ability to connect with Larry Fitzgerald, who’s their star wide-out the season catching 4 TD passes thus far in action. We’re expecting the rushing tandem of Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson to tire out the offense down the stretch, which has us giving the edge to the Seahawks. If Carson palmer didn’t have 4 more interceptions than touchdowns thrown this year, we might have picked the Cardinals; but he can’t afford any errors against arguably the best defense in the NFL.
