NFL Wild-Card Weekend 2014 (Saturday Preview)

n2
Kansas City at Indianapolis
Time: 4:35 PM (ET)
Network: NBC

The Kansas City Chiefs started the season undefeated at 9-0, but have drastically took a decline losing 5 of their last season games. Heading into the playoffs without momentum for a road game not to mention is something the Chiefs did not want to happen.

The Colts have proven themselves this year to defeat the elite teams around the league including the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers; all within a five week span. Indianapolis’ defense has really impressive this year to give Andrew Luck a big sigh of relief, in legitimate aspirations for a big postseason run.

One of the more intriguing story-lines this year will be the NFL’s defensive player of the year Robert Mathis getting into the head of Andy Reid and Alex Smith. We’re definitely not expecting a blowout on either side, but the Colts at home and playing some of their best football within the Andrew Luck-era seems like the most likely outcome later today.

Picks:

MVP Colts Chopz Chiefs

UPDATE: FINAL Colts 45 | Chiefs 44
