We’ve all seen Odell Beckham Jr. grind on a kicking net and get into scuffles with Josh Norman, but there is no denying how talented he is, even with his on-the-field stunts.
Last night against the Cincinnati Bengals, he became the fastest player to reach the 3500-yard mark in receiving. The last to do it? San Diego Chargers legend Lance Alworth. OBJ managed to reach the milestone in 36 games, while Alworth did it in 37.
The pay that put him in the record books was an 18-yard catch in the second quarter. He would score later on that same drive.
So not only is he the NFL leader for the most receiving yards in his first two seasons as a pro (even though he missed five games in those two seasons), but now he has this record to add to the tally. The man is a machine out there.
