The Packers aren’t known as a team that goes out in free agency and spends a lot of money, so when they signed DE Julius Peppers it was a bit of a surprise. The risk of signing Peppers will be rewarded if they can get anything out of him on the defensive line. They did lose some depth on the offensive line though, so that is something they have to address in May.
