The Ravens were pretty quiet to kick off free agency, as they focused on resigning some of their own players. However, when Steve Smith was cut by Carolina, the Ravens jumped on the opportunity locking him down for a 3-year deal. This should help the Ravens, but giving that kind of deal to a WR at the age of 38 who has had health concerns is a bit of a head scratcher. Factor in the offseason troubles of Ray Rice and this has been a very strange offseason for the Ravens.
