John Elway went on a spending spree during the first week of free agency. The Super Bowl runner-up Broncos are clearly in a win-now mode, and it shows by these moves. The only problem? They spent considerable amount of money on guys with injury history and it could backfire if they can’t stay healthy. They also lost WR Erik Decker to the Jets and G Zane Beedles to the Jaguars. With Peyton out there, they will of course always be contenders, but for the money they spent, how much better did they really get?
