Arron Afflalo headed back to Denver in early Draft Day trade from the Magic.
In 2011, Arron Afflalo was granted a 5-year/$36 million contract from the Denver Nuggets, which still has two years remaining. Prior to this off-season, Afflalo was one of the wing defender-scorer combo players many GMs and Owners were praising, with hopes of getting their hands on the soon to be 29-year-old player.
Orlando originality acquired Aaron in the four-team deal that sent Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers and Andre Iguodala to the Nuggets, during the summer of 2012.
Fresh from his career year, which even saw him boast a high of 43 points against the 76ers, Afflalo averaged his most point-per-game at 18. He’s remained healthy his entire career, which is something every team loves players, who can keep their body running properly.
Orlando has agreed to send Arron Afflalo to Denver for Evan Fournier and 56th pick in 2014 Draft, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

The Orlando Magic will receive Evan Fournier and the 56th pick in tonight’s NBA Draft. Orlando has been rumored of wanting to move up in tonight’s draft, trading their 4th and 12th overall picks to draft the NBA-ready stretch wing, Jabari Parker. The Magic organization envisions pairing Parker with Nikola Vucevic and Victor Oladipo to become a playoff contender in the open Eastern Conference. Whether the Nuggets decide to keep Afflalo remains to be seen, but many teams will be calling to over pay with hopes of landing quality and consistent player.
