The Greatest All-Star Game Ever
NBA All-Star games aren’t really competitive, but in 2001 we witnessed the greatest all-star game of all time. In Washington, DC at the MCI Center; Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Tim Duncan began the 4th quarter with nearly a 20 point lead. Allen Iverson, Vince Carter and Stephon Marbury would lead the East back to erase the big deficit with the three, battling the Black Mamba the entire 4th quarter. When the clock struck zero, Iverson’s 15 4th quarter points would lead to his first NBA All-Star MVP award.
