Today marks the 50th birthday of the G.O.A.T. of basketball, Michael Jeffrey Jordan. The constant debate has been whether LeBron James and Kobe Bryant are in the same class but Magic Johnson ended all discussions earlier this week on ESPN when he said nobody in the history of the NBA was in Jordan’s league.
Men lie, Women lie, Numbers definitely don’t; as Jordan’s achieved 6 Finals MVP and 10 NBA Scoring Titles, which we doubt anybody in the near future will ever top. During 1991 in his prime year, Jordan would win his first NBA title, Finals MVP, Regular Season MVP, Scoring Title, All-NBA Defensive Team, All-NBA First Team and Olympic Gold Medal in the same year. That stat-line of achievements alone in some of our opinions will never be seen again, neither will a player like Michael Jordan.
Today we’ve dedicated a feature to our most memorable NBA moments from the Brooklyn born b-boy from his college years with the North Carolina Tarheels, Washington Wizards; but most of all the Chicago Bulls. Check after the jump to view (and enjoy) “Our Favorite Michael Jordan Game Winners.”
