Every story line leading up to today’s Green Bay Packers game against the Dallas Cowboys had to do with their records on the home and on the road, plus how effective Aaron Rodgers would be with a tear in his calf. None of that mattered once the two teams got on the field, though. It was all about their performance on the Lambeau Field turf.
The game was squared up at 7 to end the fourth quarter, as both teams looked evenly matched. Tony Romo and Rodgers both threw for passing touchdowns in the quarter.
By halftime, the Cowboys looked a little better because Aaron Rodgers was struggling with his passes. They still managed to bring the game close and get down 4 points to end the half, after a Mason Crosby field goal to end the 2nd quarter.
In the second half, the Packers turned up the pressure on Tony Romo and he was out there making passes with his eyes closed, hoping to make completions.

The Cowboys remained on top of the Packers for a bulk of the third, with DeMarco Murray scoring on a 1-yard rush to give Dallas the 21-13 lead. Everything looked like it was swinging the Cowboys way and Rodgers was still struggling to find a rhythm.
But the play of the game from the Packers side came with less than 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, when Rodgers through a zip to Davante Adams and he took it 46-yards to the house.
The Packers got back on the score board and took the lead against the Cowboys in the 4th quarter after Rodgers found rookie wide receiver Richard Rodgers in the back of the end zone for a 13-yard touchdown. Aaron seemed to be in the zone at this point, completing most of his passes and driving the Packers down the length of the field. They did not score the 2-point conversion so they only led by 5 points.
The Cowboys were poised to take the lead, but on a controversial call on a crucial 4th down, a Dez Bryant catch that would have given Dallas a 1st down at the 1-yard line was overturned and ruled an incomplete pass. Green Bay had challenged the catch and won the challenge.
That’s when the game was over.

Green Bay now travels to Seattle to face the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game.
