SAY HI TO THE BAD GUY
Rookies often get welcomed to the NFL in different ways, but Amari Cooper‘s welcome by Pacman Jones was unlike any other. In the first half, Pacman took Cooper down after a play was over and proceeded to take his helmet off and slam his head right into it. The crazy part is it happened right in front of three referees, who didn’t think to eject him, but rather just gave him a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty. It is not clear why things escalated to this point, but you can bet your ass the NFL is going to take action and possibly suspend/fine Jones this week.
Talk about kicking the Oakland Raiders while they were down. They lost Derek Carr due to a hand injury, they lost the game 33-13 and didn’t look anywhere close to being a solid squad.
Luckily, Amari stayed in the game and they didn’t lose him too.
