Paul George Talks Return to the Court & Playoff Aspirations

PG13 finally feels confident after career-threatening injury

In a conversation with our favorite porn star, Sage Steele, Indiana Pacers star Paul George was the next athlete featured on ESPN’s Sports Center Conversation. During the 4-minute sit-down, the swing-man opened up for the first time one-on-one about his horrific leg injury last summer. After finishing just two games game shy of making the NBA Finals last season against the Miami Heat, George detailed how playing for Team USA initially last August was healing process and more importantly improving his game even more.

In March, Paul had initial pain and even felt he needed to wait until the summer to properly return back to the court. With rehab on hold at the moment, George opened up on his mother having a stroke when he was 6 years of age, and used her comeback as added motivation to return to the hardwood.

Currently down a full game behind the Brooklyn Nets in 9th place of the Eastern Conference standings, Indiana closes out their season with games against Detroit, Oklahoma City, Washington and a finale in Memphis. Watch more from the interview above, where PG13 feels his team can always compete with him on the court.
