If you were watching the Pacers vs. Heat game last night, Paul George caught a knee from Dwyane Wade during a loose ball as they both wrestled for the ball in the 4th quarter. The play ended in Wade and George both hitting the floor, almost making it seem like they were seriously injured. George from his head and Wade from knee.

Team doctors conducted tests to see if George was seriously injured and ruled the concussion out at the time of the incident, even though he said he felt dizziness, blurred vision and nausea.

Today, the Pacers neurologist has confirmed that George suffered a concussion on the play and they are now following protocol so he can return to action. Especially since Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals is Saturday in Miami.

It’s not like PG3 was doing anything before that anyway. George was 1-12 before the incident and he only two shots from the field in the entire fourth quarter. In comparison, Wade and LeBron James combined for 22 points in that same 4th quarter.

Indiana had the chance to take the series back to Miami with the Heat’s back against the wall and go up 2-0. Instead, they gave Miami the momentum and the advantage the next two games. The pressure is on Paul George and company and it’s now become their series to take back, not the other way around.
