CONGRATS TO PEYTON!
As if Peyton Manning didn’t hold enough records under his belt, he just eclipsed one of the biggest milestone of any quarterback in the history of the NFL.
Going into today’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Peyton only needed 3 yards to surpass Brett Favre as the all-time leader in passing yards and although his passing stats haven’t been like previous years, he was going to get the record on one play. In the first quarter, his 4-yard throw to Ronnie Hillman achieved the record and he has now broken the 71,838 career passing yards mark, giving him the record with six games to go in the season.

Manning almost set the record against his old team, the Indianapolis Colts, but he was denied the chance when Aqib Talib poked Colts tight end Dwayne Allen in the right eye and Denver didn’t get the ball back for another possession to break the record.
Manning can reach history for the second time if he pulls out the win and could become the league’s most winningest quarterback. He is currently tied with Favre at 186 career wins.
UPDATE: Peyton ended the game throwing 5/20 for 35 yards and 4 interceptions before getting benched for Brock Osweiler on his career setting day.
FINAL: KC 29 | DEN 13
