Peyton Manning Leads Broncos To Blowout Win & Finish With AFC Best Record

Peyton Manning, Broncos Get Home-field Advantage Throughout Playoffs & Potentially Super Bowl!

Who would’ve ever thought (not including myself of course) that Peyton Manning would return to the NFL in 2012 after missing the entire 2011 season and finish with the best AFC conference regular season record? Moments ago, The Denver Broncos routed the Kansas City Chiefs to secure the AFC’s top seed in a 38-3 Victory.

The Texans held the no. 1 seed in the AFC but to due to a loss against Andrew Luck and Indianapolis Colts, that would secure a proper seeding for Denver. Manning finished the season throwing 3 touchdowns and closed out the season with 4,659 yards (41 shy of his season career high). Many might say the competition the Bronco’s played weren’t impressive, but winning 11 consecutive games with a first year QB in a new system and new players is nothing to overlook.

The Broncos now get next weekend off as they will await the winner of the Houston Texans and Cincinnati Bengals wildcard meeting. Along with having the best defense in the entire AFC, Coach John Fox and field coach Peyton Manning may have finally figured out what it takes to bring a title back to the mile-high city now that the team has built chemistry and now have time to plan for the off-season in proper fashion.
