Apparently, Marcus Mariota is staying in green after next month’s Draft!

Whether or not NFL fans want to believe it, Chip Kelly is taking the league by storm – in attempts to land his former Oregon quarterback, Marcus Mariota. With the 2015 Draft nearing, the Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the more active teams this off-season with various acquisitions and shifting within their roster.

This month, the future of Nick Foles has been unclear, with the imminent drafting of Mariota; but the team finally gave all us clarity today. They’ve partnered with the St. Louis Rams to package Foles in exchange for Sam Bradford (and a future draft-pick compensation), who’s fresh from coming off a second torn ACL in his left knee

The former number one overall pick by the Rams is entering his 8th season and will be the team’s insurance card incase anything happens to their possible draft pick, Mariota. The Rams, who were on the verge of making the playoffs before injuries occurred are getting a ready-now starting QB in Foles, who will be just what Head Coach Jeff Fisher has been looking for in his 4th year with the team.
