Phoenix Suns Land Brandon Knight in 3-Team Deal

Milwaukee at Miami

The Suns are doing their all to keep that 8th seed!

After losing out on Goran Dragić (and his brother) earlier today to South Beach, the Phoenix Suns quickly reacted with a huge acquisition. Suns GM Ryan McDonough, has now agreed to terms with the Milwaukee Bucks for standout star Brandon Knight. As part of the deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Bucks receive Michael Carter-Williams, Miles Plumlee and Tyler Ennis. Philly on the other hand, continues their tanking season to receive more future draft picks from both teams, for another shot at landing more multiple first-round picks.

This move might go under-the-radar this season, simply due to Phoenix losing their star player at the trade deadline, but Brandon Knight is currently having a career year at 18 points a game and 5 assist. He easily fits into the Suns system and what they were looking, an off-ball jump shooter – something a prime-ready Dragić didn’t want to do in the desert. The 23-year-old do-it-all specialist now gets to unite with his fellow Kentucky Wildcats alumni member Eric Bledsoe, for one of the scarier back-courts the NBA currently has.
